Short bio

Active in the music industry since 1990, I began developing and managing my first projects within Metropolis—a free association of ideas and an Arci club active in Bari as a cultural volunteer collective.

In 1996, I started a collaboration that lasted 15 years with Arezzo Wave, eventually becoming the regional manager for Puglia.

In 1997, I began my first professional collaboration within the Informa project, coordinated by the Mediterranea Onlus association, working as a socio-cultural animator for the Informagiovani network.

In 1998, I founded FARM, Fattoria Artistica del Mediterraneo, the first type B social cooperative engaged in the entertainment sector through the management of clubs and cultural projects.

In 1999, as president of the Mediterranea Association, I coordinated the Informadonna project.

That same year, for Arezzo Wave, I managed the Elettrowave project (initially known as Arezzo Wave Nights), a festival focused on club culture, curating it until 2008.

In 2000, I moved to Milan, where I collaborated with the communication agency Ideogramma for the launch of Ideocomunicazione, specializing in event management and corporate PR.

Between 2001 and 2002, I handled events and public relations for Meltin Pot, a clothing and jeans-wear brand, creating the Yellow Party format.

In 2005, I founded the cultural association Elita, Enjoy Living Italy, and in 2012, Elita Company, producing various innovative formats such as the Design Week Festival, the Milano Design Awards, Sunday Park, and Smart Weekend. I also worked as a consultant and content provider for companies like Nike, Red Bull, Luxottica, Vans, Peroni, Campari, and several communication agencies.

In 2012, I started collaborating with IED MILANO as a lecturer for the Event Organization course.

In 2014, I worked with Assocom and ADCI on the creation of IF Italians Festival, the main professional event in the field of advertising communication in Italy.

In 2015, during the Milan Expo, I founded Linecheck Music Meeting and Festival, an event focused on networking opportunities for the entire national music industry.

That same year, I founded Italian Quality Music Festivals—now IMF, a national association connecting 18 contemporary music festivals in Italy, aiming to develop and promote the national festival system internationally while enhancing local heritage and musical diversity.

In 2017, I was appointed by Assomusica to coordinate the European project NIMPE, and with Multietnica, I developed the Open Sound Festival project for the Matera 2019 Foundation.

Since June 2018, I have been collaborating with Music Innovation Hub, an important non-profit organization dedicated to innovating the Italian music system, where I operationally coordinate activities such as Linecheck (as an internationalization and innovation project), Heroes Festival, the Music Rooms at Base Milano, and, during the pandemic, solidarity and resilience projects such as “Sosteniamo La Musica” with Spotify and Fondazione Cariplo, as well as “Scena Unita” with Cesvi and La Musica Che Gira.

Since 2019, I have been teaching Music Business at SAE Institute in Milan.

Within the European Union co-funded projects of the same name, I have been a member of the international boards of Keychange, Jump – European Music Market Accelerator, Creative Shift, and Music Tech Europe Academy. I am also actively involved in managing the Music Moves Europe Dialogues consortium on behalf of the European Commission.

In 2022, alongside major international partners, we founded the Federation of Music Conferences to represent and develop platforms for networking within the global music ecosystem.
